We’d like to make special mention of one of our newest Carriers on Stuff2Send, “crowflies”. See, he is able to offer a very unique delivery service…he is able to deliver important packages anywhere in the UK using a light aircraft! As far as we know, he’s the only Stuff2Send Carrier who can deliver items via plane…very cool! If you are interested in having your items delivered via plane, you can find “crowflies” in our Carrier directory.

After eliminating membership fees for everyone a few months ago, we’ve been monitoring the impact of this change on the daily activity of Stuff2Send. After some analysis, we’ve decided to add one more feature…the Guide Price. When Senders now upload a new item to Stuff2Send, they are asked to fill in the price they hope to pay for delivery. Now, when Carriers bid a specific amount for a particular item, the Guide Price will provide a good starting point.

Over the last few months, we have made several improvements to Stuff2Send to make it, well, better for you!
We would like to announce our most recent change here at Stuff2Send—we have eliminated membership fees for Carriers! (for Senders, membership has always been free) Stuff2Send is now FREE for all to access. We have shifted to a model that you may be familiar with; one that more closely resembles eBay. This means every time a transaction is completed over Stuff2Send, Carriers will be invoiced a small percentage of their winning bid.

In recent months, the Stuff2Send team has been making efforts to improve the functionality of the website so you have an easier and more productive experience with every visit. We are proud to announce the first of some major changes – the User Dashboard. The User Dashboard allows you to easily view all your Stuff2Send activity…sort of like a sending and delivering summary. You can quickly view and access items you have listed, bid on, delivered, etc. You can also use this tool to keep track of other members you have worked with to help you remember them for future transactions. This feature should save you time and help to keep the status of your transactions organized and easily accessible.
More features will be available soon and once they go live, we’ll be blogging about them to keep everyone up-to-date. If you have any feedback about the dashboard or if you have suggestions for Stuff2Send in general, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ve probably all heard the latest updates regarding the Royal Mail postal strike. On Thursday, mail centre staff and drivers will strike, followed by delivery and collection staff on Friday. This will result in limited collection and delivery of mail.
