Richard’s money saving experience!

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

“Using your site for the first time, it was a really good experience for me.  I only put the item on the day before I wanted it collecting and the carrier was able to pick it up and deliver it about an hour later.  I saved money compared with my usual courier and was confident that the items were being handled with care.  Overall I was delighted with your site and the carrier’s service.  “

Adrian needed to send a Go Kart Engine as cheaply as possible from Plymouth to Basildon.

He simply uploaded the item details onto stuff2send for a competitive delivery offer.

Shortly he received offers and agreed a delivery charge of £10!

The carrier provided a very good service, collected the item at the agreed time and delivered it promptly and safely to Basildon.

Another item sent!  That may be a service hard to beat….

Deliver….a Person!

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

Stuff2send.com is about moving”stuff” from A to B.

We’re not limited to “parcels” and “packages” but anything physical that needs delivered……luggage…..even people!

With rising train fares, there’s an enterprising lady in Cardiff who needs to get home to Birmingham.

So, she “uploaded” herself (and her suitcase) in the hope a stuff2send member could help her out, save her some costs, and make themselves some £.

Can you? Know of anyone who might?

If you’re going from Cardiff to Birmingham, or know of someone reliable who is, take a look on the site ….

Andrew Saved a Day’s Work and £200 – By Using Stuff2Send.com

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

Andrew is a property developer in South London.

With pressure on costs he tries to source as much material as he can from reclamation sites, auctions and so on.

A lovely spiral staircase was too good a bargain to miss for the outdoor stairs on his 4 floor flat conversion…….but they were in Northumberland….that’s a long way from London.

Now he needed a cheap courier or parcel delivery service that covered the UK.

Having got quotes from several couriers and courier delivery companies, and a quote to hire a van for a day (or two!),  Andrew was facing greater costs to get the staircase delivered than it cost! Which would knock a great hole in the saving’s he’d made in finding such a bargain in the first place!

A quick online search  for large parcel delivery suggested www.stuff2send.com…and MickY….a private courier in Newcastle…..came to the rescue.

Micky gave a great courier delivery service - he picked up the staircase (and also a boiler!) and delivered them to London, in his estate car.

A real personal service, always on the phone and delivered door to door.

Andrew saved costs on delivery service, used a local courier to deliver a large item and didn’t have to take a day off work.

A win-win for everyone…and a great story to highlight that out there, for the 33m drivers in the UK,  there’s room for everyone to help others out deliveirng stuff as you drive about.

Go on, deliver something along the way, and earn some cash for your fuel costs

Sauvignon, A Student and A Car

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

Alan, a student in Newcastle, lives in London.

Once a month he makes the long drive up to Newcastle…and back again. Not only is it a long drive, but the fuel cost really adds up. For a student, that’s even worse news than for the rest of us!

Ever resourceful, the student wanted ways to make some cash. A friend told him about stuff2send  – where anyone with wheels and a licence can offer to deliver stuff (parcels, packages, ebay stuff, furniture, prams, you name it…anything)…and get paid cash!

Sounded good, so Alan dived in and saw someone who needed a delivery service to send a crate of fine wine from London to Newcastle.

Fragile, costly, and precious (the wine), the sender gave the job to Alan becuase not only was he door-to-door, and could save him some money, but cecause he’d spoken to him, knew all about our online checks to verify who Alan was, and then met him, he trusted him. The sender also knew if anything happened, it would be Alan’s rating and future using the site at stake. He had plenty of reasons to trust Alan.

And he did. And his personal courier delivery went door to door. Perfectly.

Another example of how the 33m drivers in the UK can help themselves, and others, as they drive. Delivery something today.

Courier Chris Got 15 Alerts About New Deliveries. He Delivered 3 and Earned £100 Extra!

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

Chris has upgraded to Carrier EXTRA.

Last week, he got 15 alerts to new items senders had uploaded, needing delivered in his area.

“Because I only had to click a link and see the item, it was easy”, said Chris. ” I put in 5 offers within minutes of it going live, had calls from the senders, and ended up delivering 3 of the 5 items I offered on. It was very efficient and easy – a winner all round!”

Carrier EXTRA ensures you don’t miss out, and keeps you alerted automatically.

“It’s so easy to set up, and I’ve made back my cost threefold…. in the first week”
